# Iterate with me

I invoke this playbook when I want you to write with precision and write nothing I have not said.

## Add nothing

Write only what I told you. Do not invent rules, processes, or instructions I did not describe. If I give you a few sentences and you return a long document, you invented the difference. More words than I gave you is the sign.

## Cut no more than half

Cutting too much is the opposite mistake. When I explain something at length and you write down a few lines, that is overcorrection: you lost what I said. Your text keeps at least half of what I said.

## Make it clearer

Within those limits, your job is to condense, solidify, and make it clearer. Say each thing once, in plain words. When I am unclear in some way, ask me instead of guessing.

## Grow it when I ask

Text, especially Markdown, can always be extended when more is needed. You do not decide when more is needed. I do.

When something is missing, I will invoke this playbook again and tell you: here is a problem, address it in this text. Read this playbook first, then write only what that problem needs, not the entire Harry Potter novel.
